APPC has a wide range of injection molding equipment, with significant available capacity, to meet our customer’s plastic needs. Precise molded parts from less than an ounce up to several pounds in weight are produced in single and multi-cavity molds from lean, controlled processes without defect. Our formula for producing high quality components includes the use of experienced cross-functional work teams, well-maintained equipment and tooling, and lean systems of operation.
Our cross-functional teams feature personnel from the engineering design, tooling, manufacturing, and quality areas who work together early in the design review process to accurately predict optimum design and manufacturing requirements. This interaction promotes a culture able to deploy the appropriate technology within the prescribed time frame it’s needed.
APPC engineers are adept at helping customers select the appropriate thermoplastic formulation for their challenging application. From highly engineered composites to commodity resins, we run hundreds of different plastic materials with a myriad of properties. These materials can be tight-tolerance, strong, lightweight, heat-resistant, chemical resistant, rustproof, conductive, optical, colorful, and very cost-effective.
Nylon, acetal, acrylic, polycarbonate, polystyrene, polypropelene, polyethylene, PPS, PPA, and ABS are some of the plastic resins that are routinely run in our injection molding machines. Choosing the right material, coupled with the knowledge to develop a robust, controlled molding process, yields defect-free functional components.

How do you mold plastic parts and components for the health care industry? With precision and cleanliness. Alliance has a long -standing history in the health care products field.
Over time, we have developed a unique expertise that makes us more than qualified to produce super critical plastic parts and components for all types of health care applications. From clean high-volume disposables to close-tolerenced healthcare equipment , you can count on Alliance to deliver the most precise plastic parts on the market.
Large parts require more of everything. More raw material, more pressure, more heat and more attention to the process. Our large capacity molding presses can mold several pounds of material charge in a single shot. We have molded all types of large product., from office automation equipment to waste containers.
Due to the exceptionally large areas and variable thicknesses of certain parts, extra care has to be taken to control not only the molding process but the cool down phase as well. This is where warping and excessive shrinkage can occur. Cooling fixtures and secondary operations that can be performed within cycle, preserve molding cycle efficiencies and molded part integrity.

Insert and over molding combines two operations into one, saving valuable assembly time. The process is designed to mold plastic around or over a metal part or another plastic part. It's commonly used to mold around threaded metal inserts, electrical contacts and metal bushings as shown in the example on the left. The process can be designed to mold in, over or around the metal or plastic sub component. Molded materials can consist of different durometer plastics for ductility and appearance. You will find overmolding used on electrical contacts, screw thread mounts and bushings on bearings.
